Here is an updated forecast from Foothills Action Network, Catawba County and it shows an increase in freezing rain potential. Please be sure to prepare today for tomorrow and the potential for icy conditions and possible power outages.Hot off the press, our final call on this winter weather event that is expected to start late tonight.
The trends over the past 24 hours has been for more of a warm nose to move into our coverage area especially along and south of interstate 40 and into the Piedmont. We have increased the freezing rain potential for lower Rutherford County, Cleveland County, Lincoln County and most of Catawba County.
There will be a sharp snowfall gradient you head north into the foothills.
